SNAKES ALIVE! WRAPS UP A BANNER 08 SUMMER AND HITS THE ROAD FOR FALL!

Greetings to all!---Just relishing the memories and sights seen this fall on the SNAKES ALIVE! TOUR......

Started out with 7 Colleges in 5 states!----From the beautiful Adirondack Mountains where i saw the Historic Lake Placid rink in which the Mens Olympic Hockey team claimed Gold in 1980!-Actually stood in the very locker room and on the ice where each goal was scored against the Russians-I was so excited i was shaking!-Being a hockey player and actually seeing those moments on TV--wow--what a thrill to actually be there!
Also travelled thru New jersey, Maryland, a first time in Rhode Island--beauiful hotel--right on the water--{took all the animals to the window to give em a peek of the view} Saw the NYC skyline and a first time in NYC traffic too-finished up at Delhi Univ in New York State for a 3 day stay--then home thru peak fall colors--breathtaking!---managed to get one night of camping in--a pristine little campground by a mountain stream--nice campfire--the whole works!
Got home and said hi to the kitties and then it was off again!--had a blast in Kenosha WI with old friends at UW Parkside and then up to Minnesota with more good friends at Moorehead Univ

With a week between gigs i decided to go to the Black Hills of SD and see Reptile Gardens!-A great zoo in a very neat area--I told them of my arrival and was treated to a great tour by two of the curators--Thanks guys!--Then sat in in on the snake show which featured 5 snakes--got some great pics!--Thanks to the great staff who treated me like family and made me feel very welcome so far from home--Thanks for the Staff hat--luv it--Hope to visit again soon!

Then on to Kansas with some sightseeing in the rain--Had a great time at Hays Univ--lots of fun/great staff and students
Home yet again long enough to feed the critters and then off to Lancaster PA for the NACA Mid Atlantic Conference-2 days there and back to Superior WI/WITC College where we had a fun reunion yet again with old friends-then down to Rice Lake WI/WITC campus -a beautiful campus in the north country of WI
An added bonus was driving down to Rice lake and seeing a Bald Eagle feeding on a roadkill deer on the median--got some video and some nice pics
Finally down to Peoria ILL for the NACA Mid-America Regional Conference then off to Waukesha Tech in WI to finish off a whirlwind fall!

Now back home for a while--doing local shows, getting caught up around the house and looking forward to the holidays

Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting SNAKES ALIVE!

See ya soon in 09!!

Sincerely, Tom
