Welcome to SNAKES ALIVE!My name is Tom Kessenich. When I was a little boy, I fell in love with animals and nature. I learned about dinosaurs and wanted to learn more about cold-blooded animals. Then I started to collect them. The more that I had, the more my friends and other people asked me questions about them. Six years ago I became a national educator on repiles and amphibians. I took my "kids" on the road with me so we could entertain, educate and instill repect for these amazing creatures in everyone they met. My critters started making appearances all over Wisconsin. They explored schools, libraries, churches, universities, parks... and even birthday parties! One of my alligators even joined me for dinner one night at a restaurant in Mount Horeb -- and soon he was being introduced to all the restaurant staff. None of my critters are camera shy. In fact, when the flashes go off, they just smile and pose. And if you scratch Billy, the Boa Constrictor, under his chin, well... you'll just have to see for yourself. He sure likes it!A while back, one of the lizards started hinting (I speak Lizard, you know) that he wanted to reach more people, to share the message that God made reptiles, too, and reptiles and people can be friends. So after some discussion, I agreed to let him go on TV. He behaved so well that he was invited back, and he and the others have been featured on stations in Milwaukee and Madison, WI, Rockford, IL, and Moorehead, MN!Do you like snakes, lizards, alligators and dragons? Would you like to see some up close? The calendar page on my website will show you if I'll be somewhere near you. And if you don't see an event you can attend, then call me and we can set up one of your own! Sincerely, Tom
